An informed source revealed to Darfur24 that tribal components from western and Eastern Sudan had embarked on actual military training in three training camps inside Eritrean territory.

The source who is a commander of one of the tribal groups in eastern Sudan told Darfur 24 that they had initially targeted 5 thousand recruits , but the turn out was low.

These developments come amidst widespread calls for armament following the latest Rapid support forces RSF expansion in several areas in the country.

According to the source, the groups that have so far embarked on the military training, include, group led by chairman of Bija council, Musa Mohd Ahmed, a group headed by leader of the United Popular Front Mohamed Al Amin Dawood as well as other various tribal groups composed of Rashayda and Bani Amir clans of eastern Sudan.
According to the source, the group of Mini Arko Minawi which is estimated at 300 members is receiving qualitative training as special Forces..

According to the source, every group is being trained in different location due to controls fears concerning the Eritrean regime

The source refused to identify location of the training camps, saying that recruits are being gathered on the border then , they would be distributed in three different camps.
