Civil activist in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur State, Tariq Makki told Darfur 24 that the aerial bombardment carried out by the Sudanese army warplanes on Wednesday evening killed three civilians and wounded eleven others.
Tariq said that the airstrikes destroyed the houses that were entirely targeted, as well as destroying the Abu Anja School and destroying the facade of Manaa private clinic along parts of the grand mosque in the city.
According to a medical source, the emergency and incidents department of Nyala Teaching Hospital received 11 wounded, two of them seriously injured who were later transferred to the Turkish hospital south of the city.
Activists immediately responded to a protest in front of Manaa Hospitals against targeting civilians, hospitals and schools.
Activists and politicians accuse the Sudanese army of deliberately launcii air strikes on civilians in Nyala after they fall of the second largest city at the hands of the Rapid Support Forces on the twenty -sixth of last October.
