Al-Fula, Nov.30 ,(Darfur 24)

Babanusa residents said that military Aircrafts had launched airstrikes on Thursday morning in the western defenses of the army and the 22nd Military Division airport in the city of Babanusa in West Kordofan state.

Darfur 24 learned that the bombing led to the death of one of the armed forces soldiers and the injury of others.

An eyewitness named Hamidan Bakhit said that Antonov planes had flown this morning in the sky of the city of Babanusa in the western neighborhoods, where the headquarters of the 22nd Infantry Division are located, and dropped a number of explosive barrels on it.

Three days ago, warplanes had bombed the Ismail neighborhood, east of the city, leading to the deaths of residents and the displacement of the city’s residents for fear of aerial bombardment, and the spread of news of an imminent attack by the Rapid Support Forces on the headquarters of the 22nd Infantry Division.

Today’s airstrikes came at a time when the indigenous leaders (civil administrations) in the city of Babanusa announced yesterday that they had reached an agreement with the RSFand the army, stipulating stopping the escalation.
