Khartoum , Nov.24 (Darfur 24) military aircrafts carried out airstrikes Friday afternoon on the central market south of the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, and the Bayt Al-Mal and Al-Qamair neighborhood in Omdurman claiming lives of nearly 30 civilians .
Eyewitness Khaled Ababa told Darfur 24 that all the dead and injured were merchants, street vendors, children and women .
Today, Friday, the capital, Khartoum, witnessed renewed clashes between the army, which uses warplanes, and the Rapid Support Forces RSF, which respond with drones in a number of neighborhoods in the city of Omdurman.
Activists on social media circulated video clips of dozens of dead and injured people, most of whom were women and children.
Since the start of the war on April 15 between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, the army’s warplanes have carried out several indiscriminate air strikes that killed hundreds of civilians in Khartoum, Omdurman, Nyala, and El Daein.
