El Daein , November 20(Darfur 24) Government authorities and the native administration in East Darfur state have imposed dusk to dawn curfew in the city of El Daein.
On Monday, the city of El Daein witnessed confrontations between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the vicinity of the 20th Infantry Division Command in an attempt to control it, as happened in the cities of Nyala, Zalingei, and El Geneina.
Darfur 24 learned from local sources that the city of El-Daein is besieged by large numbers of armed men who are trying to storm it to carry out looting and vandalism in markets and public facilities.
At a time when youth initiatives are active in parallel with the efforts undertaken by the civil administration to save the city from destruction, sources confirmed that the secretariat of the state government, the Ministry of Finance, and the General Coordination of National Service, which is located on Airport Street, south of the city, was subjected to extensive looting.
