Nairobi , November 5 (Darfur 24) The two offices of Darfur 24 electronic newspaper in Nyala and Khartoum have been looted and damaged by unknown perpetrators.
Ibrahim Abdullah, a humanitarian worker fir an organization whose office is adjacent to the main office of Darfur 24 in the center of the city of Nyala, the capital of South Darfur state, who was able to reach down town Nyala, said that unknown persons had raided Darfur 24 office, looting and destroying it.
Darfur 24 also learned from a person in Khartoum whose name is withheld for security reasons that its branch office in the capital, Khartoum, was stormed by people whose identity is unknown.
Darfur 24’s investigation into the case of its two looted offices revealed that the attackers looted 6 laptop computers, photographic equipment, sabotaged satellite communications network equipment, embedded software components, two photocopying printers, and looted chairs and tables of different sizes and water coolers.
