Kadugli , November 2( Darfur 24) At least ten people were killed and others were injured as a result of tribal fighting between the Hawazma tribe on the one hand and the Kenana and Kawahila tribes in Qadir locality in South Kordofan state on the other hand.
Eyewitnesses said that the bloody clashes occurred on Wednesday evening after the Kenana and Kawahila tribes refused to cross the nomads of the Hawazma tribe through the eastern route, which passes through the areas of “Kaluqi, Bajon, and Qardud Toro” to the summer resorts in the areas of “Talodi, Al-Liri, and Bahr Al-Arab.”
The representative of the Hawazma Emirate in the Eastern Region, Prince Bakr Hassan, said that they had previously sat with the security authorities in the state in the presence of the commander of the 10th Infantry Division to secure the safe passage and prevent tribal frictions, but they were surprised by the closure of the “route” and the interception of its path by armed men from the Kenana and Kawahila tribes, which led to Clashes between them and militants of the Hawazma tribe, confirming that the clashes led to deaths from the three tribes.
Darfur 24 obtained the number of dead: “Dafallah Al-Lajja, Ibrahim Wad Um Ajab, Adam Mallah, Sheikh Wad Al-Nabi, Al-Husri, Ali Al-Shami, Sheikh Hamad, in addition to three others whose identities were not known.”
