El-geneina, September ( Darfur24) On Thursday, the Chadian Security and Defense Forces arrested five Sudanese accused of killing five Sudanese nomads inside Sudanese territory, after they fled to Chadian territory immediately after committing the crime last Tuesday.

 

Last Tuesday , September 13, gunmen attacked the Enjmi area adjacent to the Chadian border and opened fire on nomads living in the area, killing 5 people from one family, including children.

The families of the dead followed the perpetrators until they entered Chadian territory, and the Chadian security authorities pledged to pursue them.

Community sources told Darfur 24 that the Chadian authorities informed nomadic leaders on Thursday that they had arrested 5 of the accused, who were Sudanese refugees who had fled to Chad following El-Geneina incidents.

 

Meanwhile, official Chadian media reported that Chadian officials had arrested the perpetrators who committed the murder in the Enjmi border region.

The official Chadian television said that a delegation that included the governor of the “Wadi” region, Bishr Ali Suleiman, accompanied by the commander of the military region and the official of the “Wadi” criminal court, visited the “Adre” region, adjacent to the Sudanese border, to find out about the security disturbances carried out by some refugee criminals . according to what Chadian television described – This is because they killed five people on the border.

 

The governor of the “Wadi” region called on the refugees to respect the law of the country hosting them and not to transfer tribal conflicts to Chad.

Chadian television, quoting Chadian officials, reported that the defense and security forces were able to arrest five of the perpetrators, and they recorded a confession to the crime

While the commander of the military area, General Bahar Itno, warned the refugee leaders of the consequences of not respecting Chadian law and not transferring the tragic events they experienced to Chadian territory.

 

The governor of the “Isanga” region, Colonel Ali Muhammad Sebi, addressed a call to refugee leaders, kings and sultans to seek peace, not to destabilize security and stability in the region, and to live in peace away from tribal strife.
