Nyala, September 9 (Darfur24) Zain network mobile operator, resumed operation Saturday the city of Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, after it went down for 37days due to the fierce battles in the city between the Sudanese armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces RSF.
Darfur 24 correspondent made contact with a number of residents inside the city.
The interruption of the telecommunicationnetworks since the outbreak of the war between the army and the Rapid Support has created chaos and ambiguity in the city in light of the continuing clashes between the two parties and the incursion of militants throughout the city.
Residents of Nyala were forced to resort to communication through short messages to find out news of their families, relatives, friends and loved ones.
