Khartoum, August 8 (Darfur 24) Inconsistencies have emerged over death toll of Tuesday’s bloody clashes between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary rapid support forces in the city of Omdurman.
The state ministry of health in Khartoum said Tuesday that clashes between the two rival forces in the city of Omdurman left 20 people dead and a number injured, while both parties to the conflict claimed they inflicted rival forces more than ten casualties.
The ministry of health wrote on its Facebook page that clashes in Omdurman between RSF and the army Tuesday, left 20 civilians dead and a huge number of injured people were being treated at Alnaw hospital..
“The hospital is facing shortages of blood, we call upon all medical cadres and blood donors to urgently rush to Alnaw hospital, ministry added ”
