Khartoum, June 31(Darfur 24)United Nations office for coordination of humanitarian affairs OCHA said Friday that number of people displaced by the conflict in Sudan had dramatically increased, refering to 2.1 people internally displaced, including 1.4 million fled from the Sudanese capital, since eruption of the war between the two rival parties mid-April.
In addition to over 560.000 crossed borders to neighboring countries, most of them to Chad, Republic of South Sudan and Egypt.
Speaking in the UN daily briefing, UN deputy spokesperson Farhan Haq said humanitarian organisations delivered more than 2.8 million people during the past two months

We are facing difficulties to reach people in the conflict-affected areas in Khartoum, Darfur and Kurdofan… since eruption of the conflict 13 humanitarian workers have been killed, large number have been killed and some still unaccounted for..
UNHCR and the Chadian government are transporting people from the Sudanese-Chadian border where they face risk of floods and insecurity.
UN emergency coordinator, Martin Griffith has allocated 6million dollars from UN emergency fund to support Chad deal with the flow of Sudanese refugees.
The donation will assist host communities in eastern Chad who are in need of food and livelihood as they face drought, affect of floods and precautions of the crisis in Sudan.
