Khartoum, June13 (Darfur24) Chairman of Sudan’s sovernghty council Abdulfatah Alburhan and the Chadian president Mohammed Idris Deby discussed in a telephone call the role of the joint Sudanese-Chadian forces in securing the border between Sudan and Chad.
The city of El-Geneina has witnessed deadly clashes between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces as well as another fighting between Arab tribes and Masslit, however, West Darfur doctors committee compared the conflict in El-Geneina to the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.
Alburhan expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Chadian president Mohammed Idris Deby for opening border for Sudanese refugees fleeing the hell of war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces.
SSC media, qouted Chadian president Idris Deby as saying that his country stands with the government of Sudan in its current crisis and looks forward to seeing peace and stability pravialing in Sudan.
