“WFP is committed to assist the Sudanese people that face food insecurity , but we can’t do our life- saving job if the security and safety of our partners are not guaranteed…he added”
He added in a statement seen by Darfur 24 ” I am saddened and frightened by the tragic death of the WFP three Staff on Saturday April 15 in Kabkabiya, North Darfur while they were executing their lifesaving duties on the front line of the international Hunger crisis”
“The threats faced by our team make it impossible to work effectively and peacefully in the country”. WFP executive director said..
The statement also referred to damage of WFP aircraft at Khartoum international airport in an exchange of fire on April 15 a matter that affected ability of WFP to transport its staff ..
