Khartoum, December 14(Darfur24) Sudanese Journalist Salma Abdel Aziz was injured as she was covering December 13 processions in the Sudanese capital Khartoum.
Salma said she was hit by a tear gas package near her left kidney and subsequently taken to Al-Gawda hospital that was close to the site where she was inflicted her inuries .
Salma stated that the police forces, which deployed extensively in the Khartoum 2 area, faced the demonstrators who reject the military coup and the framework agreement concluded by some political forces with the military with excessive force and firing of tear gas, which left a number of injuries, and added:” In our site, we have approximately 7 young women and a young man injured “.
Journalist, Salma, explained that the wounded were taken to Al-Gawda Hospital, and that she had received first aid and allowed her to go home and return to complete the stages of her treatment.
The Forces for Freedom and Change FFC (centarl council) signed agreement with the military component to settle the political crisis that the country has been experiencing since the coup of the army commander on the twenty -fifth of October 2021 , however, the agreement was faced by rejection from some of the revolution forces, especially the resistance committees, calling for its abolition.
