El-Fashir, December 3(Darfur 24) Two people were killed and another one seriously injured, Friday evening, in the city of Kabkabiya, 180 km west of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, as unknown gunmen opened fire on a man and his son who were returning from their farm.
A resident of Kabkabiya said that a man, his son and his nephew who were returning from farms were shot by unidentified gun men, killing the father and his son on spot and injuring the third one .
“identity and motives of the shooters who committed this horrific and brutal incident still unknown.” Said a resident from Kabkabiya.
Meanwhile, families of the victims and residents from the city protested in front of the house of the executive director of the Kabkabiya locality, on Saturday morning, in which they condemned the incident and demanded the speedy arrest of the perpetrators.
