Khartoum, November 17(Darfur24)On Thursday, the United Nations revealed that more than 800 people have been killed and tens of thousands  displaced over the past ten months.

 

According to a report of the Office of Humanitarian Affairs OCHA since the beginning of 2022, about 26,5300 people have been displaced by the conflict, and 829 people  killed and 973 others injured as a result of conflict and violence.

 

The report added in October, tens of thousands of people were displaced in parts of West Kordofan and the Blue Nile in the wake of a wave of sectarian clashes.

 

It was explained that 288 security incidents (due to the local conflict and armed attacks) were reported throughout the country in 2022, including 34 incidents in October.

 

About 11.7 million people throughout Sudan will need food and support for livelihoods. 11 million will need water and sanitation, and 10.1 million people will need health help.

 

During the first half of 2022, the United Nations and the humanitarian partners reached about 7.1 million people with a kind of humanitarian assistance.

 

In 2021, 2.3 million cases were reported, according to the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH), which supports health partners and the World Federation of Federal Health with medicines and medical supplies.
