El-Fashir, November 10( Darfur24) An official at the Ministry of Health in North Kordofan State said that the health conditions resulting from infection with dengue fever are stable thanks to the interventions of the Department of Vector Control, humanitarian organizations and volunteers with awareness, education, home inspection and home and mist spraying.
The Director of Disease Control at the Ministry of Health in North Kordofan State, Dr. Amer Adam Mohamed, told Darfur 24 that the cumulative number of suspected cases since the beginning of the disease until Thursday reached 390 cases, of which 5 died, while there are 10 cases in the isolation ward of El Obeid Teaching Hospital, while confirming that 375 cases of the disease had been cured.
The Director of Disease Control added that the study has been resumed at all school levels in the various localities of the state, revealing the formation of a joint committee between the Health Promotion Department at the Ministry of Health and the School Health Department at the Ministry of Education to follow up and evaluate the health status of students.
