Khartoum, November 2(Darfur24) Police forced the lawyers to evacuate the headquarters of the Sudanese Bar association SBA after the Supreme Court’s decision to return the unions and federations that were dissolved earlier by the Committee for the Removal of Empowerment.
On Wednesday, November 2, the authorities deployed a large number of security forces around the house of the Bar Association after the court’s decision, and prevented large numbers of lawyers from entering the house, and stressed that they had instructions to prevent the entry of anyone, even a lawyer.
Member of the Steering Committee of the Bar Association, Mohamed Judeh, told Darfur 24 that the steering committee will work to file an appeal against the Supreme Court’s decision with the competent authorities and will never give up, Judeh indicated that the decision issued by the Supreme Court is flawed and pointed out that the decision is aimed at undermining the Sudanese revolution.
The Supreme Court Judge – Head of the Department, Dr. Muhammad Ali Babiker Abu Sbeiha – issued a judicial ruling to cancel the decision of the Committee to Eliminate Empowerment, which was suspended to dissolve trade unions, professional associations and the employers’ federation.
