Khartoum, September 29(Darfur24) The Acting Minister of Education , Mahmoud Sir Al-Khatim Al-Houri, announced results of the Sudanese certificate exams for the year 2020, with a success rate of 68.4% compared to 63% for the previous year.
Student at Al-Fath Private School in the state of Khartoum, Umniah Muhammad Musa Ibrahim, got the top marks with a rate of 98%.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Ministry of Education buildings this afternoon, Al-Houri said that the success rate in government schools reached 70.2%, and in private schools it reached 73.7 percent, and 68.4% for the academic course and 60.2% for the technical course.
The Examinations Committee has set Saturday, 5/27, 2023, as the date for the upcoming Sudanese certificate exams, and the school year is scheduled to start on the second Sunday of October.
