Khartoum, September 22(Darfur24) The Sudanese Dal Group, owned by businessman Osama Daoud, announced Thursday that it has entered the world of aviation with Air Arabia in a joint venture to launch Air Arabia Sudan, which will be based at Khartoum Airport.

 The Dal Group is one of the largest private sector groups in Sudan, and Air Arabia is one of the largest low-cost airlines in the Middle East.

 A joint statement obtained by Darfur24 said that the new company will enable travelers to save more by paying for the service they want.

Osama Daoud Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dal Group, said that this project would open up abundant new employment prospects for Sudanese youth and highly skilled professionals alike.

 The statement did not specify the date of the start of work in Al Arabiya Sudan, but indicated that it will be announced soon.
