Kadugli, September 18(Darfur24) Five brothers, aged between two and ten years, died in the Children’s Hospital in Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan, yesterday, as a result of food poisoning, according to a medical source.
The medical director of the Children’s Hospital in Kadugli, Dr. Youssef Abdulaziz Allah Gabo, told Darfur 24 that the hospital received six poisoning cases for children, 5 of whom were brothers. He mentioned that two of the children died at home, and two others died after arriving at the hospital, while two others were transferred to El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan for further medical examination.
Allah Jabo added that the deceased children were siblings ranging in age from two to ten years old, noting that autopsy samples were taken using forensic evidence to find out the circumstances of the poisoning case
