Abu Krashola ,August 21(Darfur24) This Sunday morning, the Executive Director of Abu Krashola locality in South Kordofan state, Siddiq Babiker Rahal, survived an assassination attempt as his accommodation was attacked by unknown gunmen .
Rahal said in a statement to Darfur 24 that at exactly two o’clock this morning, unidentified persons opened fire with weapons in his house, which set his car on fire, adding that no one from his family was harmed.
The Executive Director of Abu Karshola locality explained that the case was reported to local police , confirming that an emergency meeting of the local security committee was held today, Sunday, to follow up on the situation.
The state of South Kordofan is witnessing a security chaos in a number of its localities, after the manifestations of looting at gunpoint returned again, amid residents’ fears of the deteriorating security conditions.
