Al-Damazin , August 11(Darfur24) The governor of the Blue Nile region, Lieutenant-General Ahmed Al-Omda, issued a decree on Thursday appointing governors for the six governorates of the region.
The decree appointed Yasser Ahmed Al-Talib Al-Fil as governor of Damazin governorate, the capital of the region, Arafat Al-Sadiq Muhammad Ali as governor of Roseires, Jaafar Jaklo Ladik as governor of Labau, Qism Allah Abu Aqla Taha Al-Haj as governor of Qaisan, Faraj Kabas Ahmed Madani as governor of Solidarity, and Abdel Aziz Al-Amin Idris as governor of Waladmah
The decision came in accordance with the provisions of Article 9b of the Constitutional Document, Article 54 and 54.1 of the Juba Peace Agreement, and Article 21.1 of the Local Governance Law of the Blue Nile Region.
