Nyala, July 26(Darfur24) The Petroleum Administration in South Darfur decided to increase fuel prices as of tomorrow, Wednesday. The Director of the Petroleum Administration, Nahla Abdullah Nasr El-Din, told Darfur 24 that the increase came by 4,050 per gallon of diesel  and 4,100 pounds per gallon of petrol .

 

She confirmed that it had notified the stations to deal with the new prices, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, and to cancel the subsidy through the state portfolio of fuel, so that the price would become unified, after the agreement between the oil stations and the Sudanese Oil Corporation.

 

Previously, the price of a gallon of benzene  subsidized by the state was sold at 3600 pounds, commercial 3900 pounds, gasoline at 3400 pounds, and commercial 3600 pounds.

 

And the Sudanese Oil Ministry said in a statement earlier this week that the prices of petrol  rose to 760 pounds per liter, and diesel to 748 pounds per liter in Khartoum.
