Khartoum, July 1(Darfur24) Sudanese police said 6 protesters were
killed in the processions of June 30, while the Central Committee of
Sudan Doctors said 9 protesters were killed at the hands of the
security forces.
The police said in a statement seen by Darfur 24 that 96 police
officers and 129 soldiers from the army were injured during Thursday
processions , some of them seriously.
The death toll of protesters since the October 25 coup has risen to
112, and hundreds of wounded and detainees, and the country’s cities
have been witnessing continuous demonstrations since the day of the
military coup, which led the army chief, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.
The police stated that they arrested a number of the suspects and
filed complaints against them under Articles 77/69/182/139 of the
Sudanese Criminal law.
