El-Geneina,June 13(Darfur24) Launch of the peace conference between
the parties to the tribal conflict in  Jebel Moon area, West Darfur,
was delayed for more than two hours due to the objection of the
delegation of the Misiriya Jabal tribe to the title of the conference.

However,  the Rizeigat delegation was reluctant to participate in the
talks before returning 120 heads of camels that were looted yesterday
in neighboring areas of Jebel Moon.

Sources told Darfur 24 that  delegation of the Misseriya Jabal tribe
refused to reach the site of the negotiations because of its objection
to the title of the conference, Reconciliation between various clans
of the Arab tribes, the Rizeigat and the Misseriya.

The conference was supervised by the Peace and Reconciliation
Committee of the Rapid Support Forces, headed by Colonel Musa Hamid
Ambelo.

Meanwhile , the Rizeigat delegation informed the Peace and
Reconciliation Committee that more than 120 heads of camels had been
looted from areas adjacent to Jebel Moon.

The areas of Jebel Moon 75, north of El Geneina, the capital of West
Darfur state, witnessed last November tribal fighting between Arab
tribes and the Misseriya  tribe tribes, leaving many people dead from
both warring parties.
