Nyala, June 7(Datfur24) Two members of the General Traffic Department
in South Darfur, western Sudan, were slightly injured after an armed
clash between them and members of the Sudan Liberation Movement, the
Transitional Council, the leadership of Al-Hadi Idris, today, Tuesday,
at the Traffic Headquarters in Al-Matar neighborhood, east of the city
of Nyala.

According to the narration of a traffic officer, a car without plates
was chased to the traffic house in Almazat  district in the center of
the city, and then the traffic personnel demanded the traffic
leadership to hand over the car that hit a rickshaw while the driver
was running away.

Al-Fadil Kaya, the advisor to the head of the Sudan Liberation
Movement, the Transitional Council, confirmed the incident, and said
that the leader of the movement, a member of the Transitional
Sovereign Council’s member, Hadi Idris, had apologized to the state
police director, and the problem was contained, and that they promised
to control their forces.

The headquarters of the Traffic Department, which witnessed the clash,
is located among security and service institutions, including the
Civil Registry, the Department of Communication, Coordination and
Rapid Support, and the General Department for Drug Control.
