Nyala,May 17(Darfur24) The Director General of the Ministry of
Education and Guidance in South Darfur, Mohamed Al-Amin Mohamed
Mustafa, made it clear that he was  unaware of the party that
prevented students of Dirbat administrative unit in East Jebel Marra
locality from taking part in the State  primary school exams .

In statements to Darfur 24, Al-Amin said that the schools that were
prevented from sitting for the examination are  Deira-Thoro-Nabq
Basi-Kari and that the number of students in these centers is 180 male
and female students.

He pointed out that there is communication with the local examinations
administration to find solutions by conducting a local examination
according to which students will move to the intermediate stage.

For his part, the official spokesman for the Sudan Liberation
Movement, Abdel Wahed Muhammad al-Nar, said in statements to Darfur 24
that the information circulated about the boycott of 13 schools for
the sixth-grade foundation exams in East Jebel Marra locality is real,
but it is not the narration that was reported in Al-Sudani newspaper.

He added that the decision to boycott was taken by school principals
and students’ families, and the movement had no hand in this matter.
