Nyala, May 8,(Darfur24) South Darfur State Security Committee SDSC issued a statement regarding the events that took place on Thursday, Friday and yesterday evening, Saturday, in which a number of citizens were killed in various incidents.

Today, Saturday, the seventh of May, at approximately six o’clock in the evening, unknown persons riding in two vehicles, one white and the other gray, attacked and shot a group of young men in a football field south of Kalma camp, in which the citizens Suleiman Ibrahim Wadi, 35 years old, and the citizen Ishaq Abkar Issa were seriously wounded and later died before reaching hospital , and the perpetrators moved south, and in the adjacent gardens area, they again fired shots, injuring the citizen Saddam Abdullah Ibrahim, 35 years old, living in Kalma camp.
The State Security Committee held an emergency meeting that lasted for hours to evaluate the incident and follow up on information about the perpetrators, according to the testimony of witnesses, to arrest them as soon as possible and bring them to justice. An emergency room and information was established for this purpose.
The State Security Committee indicates that in the past two days, some incidents have occurred in the south of the state in both Katila and Al-Salam localities, related to looting and killing of a number of citizens. 35 combat vehicles for the purpose of combing all the incident areas in the southern localities to control the intruders.
