Eyewitnesses told Darfur 24 that a force of the Sudanese coalition , on 3 cars, attacked El-Geneina Hospital.
Eyewitness stated that the attack took place during the Maghrib call to prayer and the fasting person’s Iftar, when the attacking force fired at the hospital’s security force, which resulted in the injury of a member of the Rapid Support Forces that secure the hospital, and 3 of the patients’ companions were wounded, while 4 members of the attacking force were killed, including the commander of the West Sector. Darfur.
However, the head of the Sudanese coalition movement in the state, Gedo Badawi, told Darfur 24 that his movement’s forces came to El Geneina Hospital to visit injured members of the movement in a traffic accident that occurred on the El Geneina-Mastrey road.
He stated that the Rapid Support Forces intercepted their entry to the hospital, while the movement’s elements insisted on entering, which led to a clash between the two parties.
He explained that the movement’s forces managed to evacuate the two dead this morning, and when they went to the cemeteries to bury the bodies, the Rapid Support Forces launched another attack on them.
