Nyala, March 20(Darfur24) In the middle of last week, three Sudanese were killed and a fourth survived in a shooting by gunmen belonging to the Wagner security company, which is responsible for protecting Russian companies that are engaged in gold mining in the Andha gold mine, 250 kilometers north of Bangui, the capital of Central Africa.
One of the Sudanese working in gold mines in Central Africa, Hussein Abu Nidal, told Darfur 24 that his friend Ahmed Shahtowa was killed with three other Sudanese by Russian forces near the Andha mine near the Sudanese border.
According to Abu Nidal, four Sudanese approached the Russian base, and the soldiers shot them, killing 3, and the fourth managed to escape.
Meanwhile, Darfur 24 learned from eyewitnesses that unknown armed men attacked the Andha mine last Tuesday, a day after the
killing of the Sudanese by members of the Russian security company. The Director of South Darfur Police, Major General Mohamed Ahmed El-Zein, told Darfur 24 that the state security committee has no details of the incident
