Nyala, March 17 (Darfur24) After Tomorrow, Saturday, a campaign to vaccinate children against measles will begin in nine localities of South Darfur State.
Director of Expanded Immunization at the Ministry of Health in the state, Abdulaziz Abdul Rahman, told reporters that the campaign came after confirming measles cases among children in the nine localities targeted by the campaign.
Director of the Health Promotion Department at the ministry, Khalifa Manufali, said that the campaign targets the localities of Adal-Fursan, Kass, Bilil, Katila, Al-Radum, Buram, Marshing, Raheed Al-Bardi, and Shataya, in addition to the Kalma, Atash, Al-Salam, Al-Serif camps, and Derij camp for the displaced people.
