El-fashir , March 4 (Darfur24) The governor of North Darfur state revealed the formation of a joint force tasked with maintaining security and collecting weapons in the western localities of North Darfur state.
Nimr Abdel Rahmanm, governor of North Darfur said, a joint security force has been formed to extend the prestige of the state, maintain security, collect weapons ,and fight all negative phenomena in the localities of Saraf Omra, Kabkabiya and Serif.
Addressing a meeting of Saraf Omra local leaders, which he visited on Tuesday at the head of a delegation of government officials and representatives of international organizations, Nimr added that the formation of the force was carried out in coordination and cooperation between the executive directors of the three localities and the Native Administration leaders.
The young governor said on his Facebook page that he announced his government’s commitment to digging 40 water pumps and providing the necessary mechanisms to build dams, in addition to rehabilitating the Saraf Omra local hospital and providing treatment for the patients currently in it, in addition to appointing two doctors and six nurses from the people of the region and employing a number of residents.
He pointed out that the Agricultural Bank has begun to open a branch in the locality to provide banking services to its citizens, noting that a high-ranking delegation from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Urban Development in the state will visit the locality to start planning the city.
