Khartoum, Feb 28(Darfur24) A young man was shot dead by Sudanese security forces, Monday, as riot police was trying to disperse protest against the military coup plotters in Omdurman.
According to the Central Committee of Doctors, a protester, whose has not been identified, was killed by live bullets in the head that penetrated the skull and led to the brain drain by the coup authorities today in the processions of the city of Omdurman.
The committee added, in a statement on its Facebook page, that the coup forces continued to use violence and excessive repression, and to use live bullets of all kinds and forms without any humanitarian or moral scruples.
Demonstrators arrived in Khartoum, the southern gate of the presidential palace, before security forces fired tear gas and sound bombs to force the protesters to retreat.
