Khartoum, feb4 (Darfur24) The Rapid Support Forces RSF, as a competitor to the Dal group owned by Sudanese businessman Osama Daoud, entered into the purchase of Zain Communications Company.
A well-informed source told Darfur 24 that the Rapid Support Forces made an offer to buy Zain Telecom, which exceeds the offer made by the Dal Group by about $200 million.
The Dal Group made an offer worth $1.3 billion, the company announced earlier.
The source told Darfur 24 that the Kuwaiti company Zain “the mother” has not decided on any offer, but it is facing political pressure to accept the offer of the Dal group.
A number of experts view the Zain purchase deal with suspicion, given that the offer offered is much less than the company’s value.
