Khartoum, Jan.26(Darfur24) On Tuesday, UN Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric expressed the United Nations’ condemnation of the use of live ammunition against peaceful protesters in Sudan.
Security forces shot dead three protesters on Monday and fired tear gas, after demonstrators in the capital, Khartoum, and other cities gathered in new anti-army rallies, Darfur24 eyewitness said.
Speaking to reporters at the UN headquarters in New York Dujarric said “Once again we condemn in the strongest possible terms the use of live bullets against protesters”.
