24.11.2021(Khartoum)  Sudanese Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdok, has directed security forces to secure processions, tomorrow, November 25, and to initiate procedures for the release of all detainees in the capital and the states, starting today, Wednesday.

 

The Prime Minister’s office said in  a press statement that Hamdok was briefed during his meeting with the Director General of the Sudanese Police Forces, Lieutenant-General Al-Sadiq Ali Ibrahim, and the Khartoum State Police Director, Lieutenant-General Zain Al-Abidin Othman  on the preparations of the police forces to secure the processions tomorrow, Thursday, November 25.

 

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the was held at the request  of  Prime Minister Abdallah Hamadok.

However, the meeting focused on  the detailed plan to secure tomorrow’s processions,  affirming  that peaceful  demonstration is a legitimate right in accordance with the principles of the glorious December revolution.

For his part, Director General of the Sudanese Police Forces their commitment to work in accordance with the law in a manner that preserves the security and safety of all, and to exercise their right to peaceful expression.

The meeting also called for the rapid and unconditional release of all detainees of the resistance committees in the capital and the states, as of today.
