23.11.2021 Khartoum- The World Health Organization WHO has revealed that 500 people have been injured since the outbreak of protests against the military coup in late October.
A report by the Office of Humanitarian Affairs in Khartoum said since October 25, more than 500 people have been injured in the wake of demonstrations and protests in Khartoum, with 41 deaths reported, according to the Central Committee of Sudan Doctors.
Most of the casualties were in Khartoum, where the largest protests erupted, the report added . WHO provided dressings and trauma supplies to 900 patients, and assessed emergency capacities in 15 hospitals in Khartoum.
