November 6, 2021 (Khartoum) On Friday, the European Union flew the Sudanese flag at the Union headquarters building in Brussels, in solidarity with the Sudanese people, following the military coup at the end of last month. And the European Union’s spokesperson for the Middle East and North Africa, Luis Miguel Bueno, posted a picture on his Twitter account showing the Sudanese flag flying over the union building.
He commented on the photo, saying: “We flew the Sudanese flag in the European Union to honor the Sudanese people, and to express our support for the aspirations of the Sudanese.” “We support efforts by the international community to return to the democratic path in Sudan, led by civilians,” he added.
