Sudan:
September 28, 2021 (Khartoum) The war of words has escalated between the head of the Sovereignty Council and his deputy on the one hand, and a member of the Civil Council, Muhammad al-Faki, in the wake of a failed coup attempt.
Chairman of the Sudan Liberation Movement, Minni Arko Minawi, refused to describe the media clash as a crisis between the civilian and military components of the military council.
Minawi told Darfur 24 after his meeting with the Prime Minister this afternoon that the current crisis concerns freedom and change, but there is a party within the coalition that wants to portary the matter as if it were a crisis between civilians and the military.
Minawi leads a group within Freedom and Change that calls for reforming the political incubator.
Minawi said that the Prime Minister proposed to him to intervene to solve the crisis between the quarrelsome parties within the forces for freedom and change
