August 9, 2021 (Khartoum) The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Assad Khan, and his accompanying delegation, consisting of Chief Prosecutor Julian Nichols, Adviser to the Prosecutor Thomas Lynch, and Counsellor for International Cooperation in the Office of the Prosecutor Dahiro Sant Anna, arrive at Khartoum International Airport this evening.
According to SUNA, the visit aims to meet with Sudanese government officials to discuss and enhance ways of cooperation on the ongoing investigation file related to Darfur, in addition to meeting diplomats and representatives of civil society organizations.
The Public Prosecutor will hold a press conference at the end of his visit to the country next Thursday.
