July 18, 2021 (Khartoum) Chairman of Sudan Liberation Army Movement , Mina Arko Minawi said his movement’s forces arrived yesterday, Saturday, in El-Fasher, a head of the formation of the joint force to protect civilians in Darfur, in accordance with the provisions of the Juba peace Agreement.
Minawi said in a statement to Darfur 24 that his movement sent 800 soldiers as a first batch within the joint forces, who have already arrived at the gathering point in El Fasher, and continued, “We agreed earlier that the movements of the Darfur track would provide 8,000 soldiers.”
Security arrangements are facing obstacles, while the signatory movements accuse the army of deliberately slowing implementation of Security arrangements .
