July 14, 2021- The Public Prosecutor on Tuesday, prevented a team of foreign experts in forensic medicine from visiting the morgue of Al-Tamayoz Hospital in Khartoum, to see the remains of one of the martyrs of Ramadan 28, transferred from a mass grave north of Omdurman to the hospital refrigerators.
A member of the committee, Saleh Bushra, told Darfur 24, “The Executive Office of the Public Prosecutor informed a delegation of committee members and families of the missing who were accompanying the Argentine forensic team of experts to the morgue of the Hospital of Excellence, that orders were issued by the Attorney General not to allow the delegation to enter the morgue, or View the preserved corpses.
The team of experts, consisting of three forensic medicine specialists from Argentina, arrived in the country at the invitation of the families of the missing and with the approval of the government, where they held a meeting with the Minister of Justice.
