Member of the legal committee of the ruling coalition , Abdul Qader Al-Badawi told Darfur 24 that the Democratic Alliance of Lawyers has nominated 14 candidates for the position of Attorney General.
Al-Badawi attributed the delay in deciding the nominations due to the request of the Legal Committee to bring a complete CV to all candidates and confirm the candidate’s desire before entering the stage of selecting the final list.
The Legal Committee submitted its nominations for the position of Chief Justice to the Central Council for Freedom and Change, to decide on them, however, the committee is expected to meet next week to decide the nominations of the Attorney General.
