The spokesman for the General Coordination of Displaced Persons and Refugees in Darfur, Adam Rijal, said that armed militias attacked, last Sunday, villages north of Jebel Marra in Rokero locality in Central Darfur state killing one person, wounding four and burning a number of villages.
Adam Rijal explained that the attacks on the villages continued until Monday, and the transitional government did not intervene to protect the residents.
Rijal accused Sadiq al-Fakka, who signed a peace agreement with the Rapid Support Forces of being behind the attacks on the villages.
