Darfur 24- Al-Daein
The city of Ad-Daein, the capital of East Darfur, has received quantities of coronavirus vaccine estimated at 5,000 doses, to vaccinate the medical field staff and those with chronic diseases and the elderly.
The Director General of the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, Dr. Bashir Muhammad Ibrahim, told Darfur 24 that the doses that arrived today at Al Da’en Teaching Hospital are estimated at 5,000 doses.
Bashir announced that vaccination will start next Sunday in all hospitals and government centers, targeting all medical workers, people with chronic diseases and the elderly.
It’s worth noting that East Darfur has not recorded any cases of covid-19 since the second wave started this year
