Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdok discussed with the delegation of the International Development Agency, the investments that the Agency for International Development in Sudan could make in the period from 2021-2022.
Hamdok also met in Khartoum with the delegation of the International Development Agency headed by Othman Dew, Country Director of the World Bank, in the presence of Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Eng.Khalid Omar Youssef, and Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Gabriel Ibrahim.
According to the Sudan News Agency, the Agency for International Development – one of the agencies of the World Bank Group intends to invest 2 billion dollars, in Sudan, in projects of energy, agriculture, rural roads, and sanitation.
Hamdok praised the country’s investment framework proposed by the International Development Agency, which helps attract investment to Sudan from other agencies and countries according to the government’s development priorities, in a way that contributes to activating the country’s self-resources and advancing the national economy.
