Darfur 24-Khartoum
Government sources informed Darfur 24 that the head of the Sudan’s Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, will start on Monday a visit to the city of El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur State.
The sources said that Al-Burhan would be accompanied by a large delegation, along with the Governor of West Darfur, Mohammad Abdullah Al-Duma.
The visit of Al-Burhan to west Darfur comes against the backdrop of the upsurge of tribal fighting between the Arabs and Masalits tribes last week, in which 150 people were killed and thousands displaced
