Female students of El-Geneina university face harsh living condition in their hostels, due to the ongoing communal violence between the Arabs and Masalit tribes , they have run out of water and food.
Student, Tasabih Mohamed told Darfur24 that female student of El-Geneina university were facing difficult living condition in their hostel , due to the lack of food and drinking water for two consecutive days., in addition to the fear over ongoing tribal conflict in the city between Arabs and Masalit Tribes.
The city of El-Geneina has witnessed fierce fighting between Arab and Africans ethnic groups since Sunday, resulted in 50 deaths and 134 injuries.
However, the three-day conflict has led to a complete stand still in the city, restricting movements of both vehicles and pedestrians alike. .
