A child as young as ten years old was killed in the violent demonstrations and acts of vandalism that broke out in the city of Daein, the capital of East Darfur on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the protesters set fire to the studios of the local radio and television authority, in addition to three cars belonging to the authority, a vehicle belonging to the Ministry of Finance, as well as the Al-Jawhara Mall in the center of the city of Al-Daein.
Eyewitness told Darfur 24 that they saw masked men roaming the city’s streets, while the police were chasing the protesters to prevent further losses in the market and government institutions.
